My wife sat down on the couch next to me as I was flipping channels. She asked, 'What's on TV?'

I said, 'Dust.'

After retiring, I went to the Social Security office to apply for Social Security. The woman behind the counter asked me for my driver's license to verify my age.. I looked in my pockets and realized I had left my wallet at home. I told the woman that I was very sorry, but I would have to go home and come back later.

The woman said, 'Unbutton your shirt'. So I opened my shirt revealing my curly silver hair. She said, 'That silver hair on your chest is proof enough for me' and she processed my Social Security application.

When I got home, I excitedly told my wife about my experience at the Social Security office.

A man sat at a metro station in Washington DC and started to play
the violin; it was a cold January morning. He played six Bach pieces
for about 45 minutes. During that time, since it was rush hour, it was

musician playing. He slowed his pace and stopped for a few seconds and

him, but the man looked at his watch and started to walk again.
Clearly he was late for work.

The one who paid the most attention was a 3 year old boy. His mother
tagged him along, hurried but the kid stopped to look at the
violinist. Finally the mother pushed hard and the child continued to
walk turning his head all the time. This action was repeated by
several other children. All the parents, without exception, forced
them to move on.

In the 45 minutes the musician played, only 6 people stopped and
stayed for a while. About 20 gave him money but continued to walk
their normal pace. He collected $32. When he finished playing and
silence took over, no one noticed it. No one applauded, nor was there
any recognition.

No one knew this but the violinist was Joshua Bell, one of the best
musicians in the world. He played one of the most intricate pieces
ever written, with a violin worth 3.5 million dollars.

Two days before his playing in the subway, tickets for Joshua Bell's
performance at a theater in Boston were sold out and the seats
averaged $100.

This is a real story. Joshua Bell playing incognito in the metro
station was organized by the Washington Post as part of an social
experiment about perception, taste and priorities of people. The
outlines were: in a commonplace environment at an inappropriate hour:
Do we perceive beauty? Do we stop to appreciate it? Do we recognize
the talent in an unexpected context?

One of the possible conclusions from this experience could be: If we
do not have a moment to stop and listen to one of the best musicians
in the world playing the best music ever written, how many other
things are we missing?

My exams were over last Friday( at long last) and after the exams me and a few of my college mates decided to go for a movie in pyramid . we went for transporter 3 and the movie wasnt tht bad although i have to admit Jason Statham was a bit TOO GODlike in almost all the fighting scenes, but i din really care.Oh and before i forget, the lead actress was really quite a turn off with her infinite freckles :(

after tht we were suppose to go clubbing but we didnt. so we went to kota kemuning for some drinks and well, we really drank and Faris was pretty much foxed out , even moses who almost walk straight into a drain( btw we were drinking beside a lake) and jere was the poor victim of Faris who decided pulling Jere's pants and playing kejar kejar would be amusing( everything was amusing for faris in his drunk state :D) We also did a few more things tht would be too embarrassing to be stated here.

we also had a great view of LIVE PORN (HOMEMADE some more) of some couple who were opposite the lake but we decided to remain civilized and not watch them .lol. hahaha.

after tht since i myself was quite drunk, i decided to crash at ben's place as driving back would be dangerous and it was already around 5 in the morning. I went home the next day forgetting faris had his car keys in my car and the poor guy woke up at 1 and called me for his care keys. so we met up at medan for lunch and and gave the poor kid back his car keys. lol. And now i cant wait for this friday as i'll be going PD with some other friends and also Genting with my college mates some time soon.

I just watched it with Joel, Daniel, Vinod and Ashwin.... The movie was awesome

and the plot was like BEYOND GODLIKE.

and when u hear ppl saying joker role was played very well ,

frankly that is and UNDERSTATEMENT, it was played very very well. the joker's role

and acting was all done so superbly, convincingly. The character unfolded PERFECTLY

and in the end, it turned out to be a masterpiece .And actually even

Batman played his role well, Christian Bale i mean...

IT is a must watch... anyway gtg its 4.30 now and i got college in 3 hrs so .....

i watched this movie just now and it was better , way better than the first one with the touch of humour at the right places... suprisingly the cinema was quite empty though... but the movie was worth watching...

ANYWAY,

College cant get any worse at the rate at which my t3 teacher is teaching. Her teaching is so good that she brings the word boring into a whole new perspective. And her jokes, OMFG dont ask- even ppl who has never smiled in their entire life can crack better ones!!!!!

Just watched hancock and eventhough the movie isn’t a 10/10 type of movie,it isnt ur average superhero type of movie either...

It was nice, very nice as a matter of fact, although as i said earleir, not 10/10 as i expected... :D

We entered just on time for the movie,thanks to THE ALL SMART DINI’s idea to go GSC 1^st which was packed like a sardine tin obviously…. *shakes head*

so we went to TGV where the line was as long as Vidic's hair(which means there wasnt any line)

And because of that , I din get to see whether the Harry Potter trailer has been released or not yet…since i entered just as the last advertisment finished... Haiz

and then there was this boy behind us, asking stupid things during the movie like "hancock dead ah?", "eh hancock can fly!!!" and the saying things like " hahahaha, he drinking and flying!!"... and many stupid things that i felt like pulling his pants over his face, but i did not on second thought, being the kind soul i am.... XD

Just watched WANTED with Vinod, Daniel and Mich. The action was great,

no not great , it was

SUPERB

although the starting was a bit boring.The storyline was also a bit confusing... but once i watched , all i can say is that WANTED was as nice as i thought it would be, or maybe nicer.

Sunway Pyramid

Yesterday(Monday), Vinod ,Dini, Karmen, Wan Ying and i went Sunway Pyramid. The original plan was for all of us to go for ice- skating, but thankfully i had a muscle pull on my right thigh so Vinod and i did not ice skate but instead went for a movie( i'll come to that later) and we went racing in the arcade which i lost by a mere one race...XDXDXD

The Movie that Vinod and i watched was The Bank Job. The storyline wasn't all that bad but somehow overall, i found the movie not as nice as i thought it first was.

And after the movie, all of us, including the 3 professional skaters decided to have our lunch in Manhattan Fish Market and that is when Dinisha, Karmen and Wan Ying's plot to poison Vinod and the one and only Thirath was revealed...

*excitement can be seen

Overall, it was a fun day... unfortunately ppl with college like Kui San couldn't come.... And now she claims to be angry... so sad... :(:(:(

Just came back from penang and the trip was fun especially the food... Yesterday while i was looking through my college's timetable, i saw that my main exams were at the 14th of June. Then i flipped through my phone's calendar and realized that i had a month or so left before my exam and my preparation level was the same as Birmingham City's preparation level to win the EPL( which is VERY BAD).

So today i have made up my mind to start studying as to prevent myself from feeling the repercussions of me not studying since college started. Hopefully my studying goes well, even if it is for an hour.

Well, if i happen to fail the exams, the only person to blame is myself just as i have myself to blame IF i fail the Progress Test 2 that i did last Friday.So now i am about to start studying and hope that this studying everyday continues for at least the next one month before my main exams.Or not means I AM DOOMED.......

Before i publish this post, i would like to thank whatever that made me log in MSN yesterday night coz if it wasn't for that , i wouldn't have done Mr. Jayan's assignment ...

3 or 4 weeks back my lecturer gave us and assignment to pass up at 5th. At the time when he gave us the assignment i was thinking to myself, "this shit is going to take me 3 hrs the most and he gave us 3 weeks."So as usual i procrastinanted till yesterday night when i signed in to MSN...

Life is boring especially nowadays .. Everyday I sit at home, watch movies and sometimes I go out with my friends but still, amidst all this so call ‘fun’, whenever my mind wonders towards the my SPM, my stomach squirms and I try not think about it but that, is literally impossible… half of me wants the result to come out earlier so that I can get rid of this feeling but the other half, keeps on saying that it is better for it to come out later. Somehow another I agree with the latter.

Even life has started to feel meaningless, I wake up everyday and often wonder- What am I going to do today? And the answer is plain and simple- Nothing! The only days I actually look forward to, aren’t the days when I go out with friends but the days when there is English Premier League football and until recently, champions league football… Even I myself do not know why I enjoy watching 22 people chase after the same ball when each of them can actually buy their own ones.

Since the field opposite school has been destroyed, playing football is actually something near impossible.My other salvation which is football every Friday with Fong, Lum, Hing Seng, Kel Jian , Tay, Wei Sheng and others who I am too lazy too mention might stop occuring one day if the authorities decide to destroy that field also …

For my own health and life, I sincerely hope that I March 17 comes fast because if it doesn’t , I might start growing roots to this chair.

At this point, he dived underneath my table and *POP* my left toe went missing. Goodness gracious me, it bled profusely as if it were like Joel shitting. If it wasn't for Deepak's blood sucking abilities as a vampire, I would have been as thin as Jia Myn. And that is how I lost my left toe.

By the way, I lied.
